Three-Year Cycle

These units are quite rigorous and should be done over the course of a full school year.  

 

Each Unit Includes the following for each level:

  • Learning Outcomes
  • Terms to Know (vocabulary)
  • Important Dates & Events
  • Suggested Source documents 
  • Inquiry-based learning questions
  • Project-based learning opportunities


Learning levels

This curriculum is broken down into learning levels with each level building on the last.

It is recommended that students use the following sequence (in any order) in a 3-year cycle: Civics & Government, US History and World History.

Level 1: Grades 1-3

Level 2: Grades 4-6

Level 3: Grades 7-9

Level 4: Grades 10-12
