This beginner-level writing course is designed for students in grades 6–11 who need extra support with grammar, structure, and essay writing fundamentals. The course begins with a focus on strengthening basic writing skills—such as sentence structure, paragraph development, and clarity—and then transitions into mastering seven key types of essays: descriptive, narrative, expository, process, compare & contrast, persuasive, and analytical.
Over 24 interactive lessons, students will build confidence in their writing through step-by-step instruction, peer discussion, and consistent feedback. Each student will complete and revise one full essay for every major type, building a portfolio of polished work by the end of the course.
